What is the purpose of data processing and which data is collected?
The Picture Frame application periodically synchronizes images made accessible through sharing links. To do this, it access the computer system of the service provider that is addressed by the sharing link. When accessing this computer system, it is technically necessary to transfer your IP-address. In addtion, there may be additional device-specific information (e.g. your operating system version) that is automatically transfered as well. Unfortunately, we are unable to define the data processing that occurs after transmitting this data, since we are not operating these computer systems. Please take a look at the privacy policy of the associated service provider.
Appart from the synchronization function for images, the application is not performing any data transfers. This means that all data which you enter and all images that are downloaded will only be stored and processed on your device. In addition, we are not collecting any app usage statistic or similar information. Instead, we are solely relying on anonymous usage data that is automatically provided to us by Google.
Where is data stored and processed?
The data storage and processing of downloaded pictures takes place on your device. We are not collecting any information about the application. Instead, we are relying solely on statistics provided by Google as part of the Play Store.
Which third parties will receive the data?
We are not interested in your data and thus, we are not collecting it. As a result, we also cannot lose it or transfer it to third parties.
How long is the data stored?
The storage duration of pictures and sharing links is controlled by you. If you want to delete data, you can manually delete individual sharing links and pictures through the user interface. Alternatively, you can also configure the automatic deletion through the application settings. If you delete the application from your device, all data will be deleted as well.
Which rights can be claimed?
Your rights are described in detail in the Chapter 3 GDPR (https://gdpr-info.eu) and your rights are not restricted through this privacy policy. Among others, your rights include the:
